Kathleen’s story II

My Bethany Kate. She was stillborn at 35 weeks with a chromosomal defect and a hole in her heart. There was absolutely nothing I could do but hand it over to God. There isn’t a worse feeling in the world than to spend time being pregnant, only to leave the hospital without your baby in your arms. I felt so empty - so very, very empty. Five years later and the pain still runs deep. I try to find comfort in helping others who are left empty handed. I know how they feel. I’ve walked in their shoes. Our journeys may not be exactly the same, but we all have babies in heaven. They are with God now, not with us, but the pain remains. If there is any way I can offer my heart and support to help ease the next loss, let them find Mary’s Angels to help them through their journey.
